dogspencil Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 right ive posted about being tall before but here its goes again girls i would be greatful if you could help me,,,im a little over 6,4,,,and cant understand why im getting so much crap about,,evrytime i meet new people i become the centre of the conversation getting a 100 questions about being tall thats ive had all my life,,or jokes ive herd 100 times before,,every girl i seem to meet appears put off by my height...im confident,,have no problems talking to anyone,,im athletic around 210 pounds popular around friends etc...is just being this tall really that unattractive what are your views??? I once knew a guy who was 6ft8... didn't bother me at all, a tall guy makes me feel really feminine as I'm taller than most of my friends, it's nice to be around people taller than me for once! villie Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 No way! Tall is very attractive! Im 5"11 with out shoes - i find it VERY hard to find someone tall. Theres lots of guys that im the same height with but soon as i put on heels, im like 2-3 inches taller! I dont know why but i couldn't date someone shorter than me. id feel uncomfortable! I get tired of always being one of the tallest people in the room all the time! its nice to have someone tall, thats on your "level" so to speak. If the guy is tall, for me anyway, he's got a better chance than someone whos shorter than me thats for sure. I know thats probably rather picky, but people have preferred views/preferences on body shapes and sizes so i guess this is no different! Link to comment

Women don't base attraction on physical appearance as much as men do, but generally there is one thing they take very seriously and that is a guy's height. If you get down about the teasing/jokes and get mopey or drop your shoulders (think Robert on Everybody Loves Raymond) ...then that's lookes more like an oversized Eeore than a confident guy who's also tall, fun, funny, etc. I would doubt that girls are put off by your height. You might be the only guy I've ever heard of that says that they wish they weren't so tall. Maybe you are just a little shy and don't like being the center of attention. I've come to terms knowing that when I go out I'm instantly going to get a little more attention than others just from my appearance. It seems like you are being watched sometimes by everyone. Just know that when girls come up to you and say jokes that you've heard 100 times its just an easy way for them to start up conversation with you and it's your game from there. Most of the time that's a sign that they are attracted to you. The people that crack those same jokes also don't know that you hear it all the time. Link to comment
