anonimo
My protein came in and the taste is alright, but, my 24oz container has a scoop the size of the little dipper and its only 25 grams per scoop. At that rate if I want to take a gram per pound that I weigh I'd have to have like 6 scoops or so a day. Which would seem to be almost 1/4 of the container. At this rate I'd probably have to buy a new 24oz every week. It cost 43 Bucks because its all natural... I don't know fellas that seems kind of costly. Is that how much you guys are spending?? You use the powder to supplement your diet. You get most of your protein from actual food, which is not nearly as costly. Don't use it to substitute real food. That's not what it's best used for... shykid
You get your protein from other sources within your diet. Protein supplements are just that "supplements" not a substitute or replacement. EDIT: stinkweed beat me to it! Link to comment

IndigoEye
Don't know about gram per pound transfer but have doc prescribed two shakes a day with 20 oz. animal protein from meals, but I'm only 130 lbs right now. I think about a quarter cup is good. Too $? I use Sunwarrior brown rice protein from David Wolfe. About $50/mo. Link to comment
Stinkweed
Definitely... It's cool, we're here to learn. Ask ask ask. Remember that one who asks a question is a fool for 5 minutes. One who doesn't stays a fool forever.... or something like that Link to comment

sidehop
I used to buy A LOT of tuna, chicken and eggs. Just don't eat three cans of tuna in one day...you can kill small animals with the amount of gas you'll create Link to comment

Yes this is how it's supposed to be. He should take his protein shake before or right after working out. Then the rest of the day eat his regular meal, instead of, say, substituting breakfast for a protein shake. Link to comment
ghost69
i have 2-3 shakes a day with 2 scoops. your powder sounds the same as mine. i eat a lot of chicken and other meats to get protein though. fish is really good too. (i think i'm getting that for lunch now hehe) anyways, i use this kind: image removed has a 4 hours release on it so you get protein a bit longer than in one shot like how whey works. Link to comment
