I don't know what to do, I screwed up big time

Is it possible to post a post that will only exist for a day or two? I want to write about something really bad, but I am also ashamed of having something like this about me exist on a web site forever.

On any post you've made, you can click the "edit" button at the bottom of the post, in and in the edit screen that comes up, you have the option to delete. Try it with your post above.

I believe you can delete a whole thread if you're the original poster.

Yeah, good point. You'll want to do that if anyone has quoted you in the thread (because you can't delete their quotation). The delete thread link is accessible via the "thread tools" link to the upper right of your first post.
