heatspreader
I have a picture showing where on the back it hurts. It's not like regular pain. It kind of burns and stings and when I touch it there it hurts worse. When it gets really bad the pain radiates down to my arm. It happens when I'm at work. It's probably because of the way I have my arms and I'm positioned for 8 hours straight. I think it has something to do with a nerve because of the way it feels. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this? image removed Link to comment
xCOREx
way to showoff.(my guns are sore look!) jk. do you have health insurance or is it covered and how long have you had the pain? Link to comment
heatspreader
Yep I have health insurance. It started a little while after starting a different position at my work, about a month and a half ago. Link to comment
xCOREx
what do you do so we can understand the type of wear on this arm. any reason it might be one and not the other? I think only a doc can really know whats going down in there. but all the info you can give him or others will help. Link to comment
heatspreader
It's really hard to explain. Their are boards stacked about waist high and I use a glue gun accross the top of the boards. Link to comment
samantha20
yes I had EXACTLY the same problem in the same place as you. I went to see a chiropractor and he said that a knot in my back/shoulder was putting pressure on a nerve and causing the burning sensation. You have to see a chiropractor. I had the problem for months before finally going to see one and after a few sessions he finally got rid of the problem by pushing the muscles back into place. That would definitely be my advice! I went to see a doctor first and all he did was give me some deep heat cream, which didn't work at all. You need to see a chiropractor which is a back specialist. Link to comment
heatspreader
Do you have to go to a regular doctor before you can go to a specialist doctor? I'm not sure how that works but when I was young I had ear problems and I had to go to the regular doctor first and he sent me to the ear specialist. Link to comment
Cold_Blooded
I'd say go see a physiotherapist. Chiropractors usually pop and crack things, where as physiotherapist work those knots out and teach you techniques you can do at home on your own to stay well. But this is just my own thoughts because like you I've been in that position many times (Mainly because I get lazy with my exercises) and because for a 16 year old girl, I have the back of a 40 year old from various dirtbiking, horseback riding and snowmobiling/ snowboarding accidents XD x_X Link to comment
