Today I was reminded when thinking of my ex, of the Sesame Street episode I saw as a kid when Mr. Hooper died. This video is how the adults explained the loss to Big Bird. Losing a relationship is much like the loss shown here, and the final explanation makes so much sense. Sometimes the simplest ways to go about things are the best. If you need some reference to your pain, and don't mind a good cry, this was helpful to me. Just be forewarned it is very touching, but very sad.
