A Date with a girl I barely know

Hey, I had a question about going on a date with a girl I barely know. Normally, the girls that I date have all been friends of mine for a while first, so that when we do go out and whatnot, we both already know what activities each other likes.

 

I recently met this girl at a party (a friend of a friends sister), and went out with her to dinner and a movie. I'm sure she likes me, and she texted and called me a couple days after the date. My problem is that I don't know what to do for a second date! I'm used to knowing exactly what the girl likes to do, and since I just met this one, I don't know her all that well, and I don't want to ask her out for some grandiose date that would just come off as too strong, or whatever. Would something like hot chocolate at the mall be ok? Any would is greatly appreciated!

so many things to do. but that's part of not knowing someone and dating them. it's to get to know them. don't do the movie thing anymore until it's your gf. just a rule i go by.

Thanks for the ideas! But I should also add that I'm 19 in the U.S., and thus can't exactly "go for a drink"

drinks don't have to be alcoholic beverages.

 

but family fun parks are good.

Didn't you ask her what her interests and hobbies are during the first date?

 

I'm in my late 20's so not sure if these activities would interest your age group . . .

 

art museums

comedy clubs

aquariums

 

Google search a list of things to do in your area and see what you come up with. If you live near the city there's always tons of activities.

Call her and say you would like to meet up again. If she says cool then ask if there's anything in particular she'd like to do. Let her suggest something.
