bmwm3 Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 So sat night i was out with my boys getting rowdy... and throughout the night a few girls came up to me, we chatted and they gave me there number... one of them stood out so i called her yesterday.. we talked for a while, and she goes btw i am 26 not 24.. and this kind of pissed me off.. not that she was 26 because 26 and 24 is pretty much the same to me... but the fact she lied about something so insignificant.. and this totaly makes me not trust her one bit.. if she lied about something so small this early on.. whats next??? weird thing is she looks like she is 22 or 23.. i dont get it why lie about your age.. its one thing to say that your 25 when your really 35... My friend calls me super sleuth because I can find almost anything through google. So I google his name...turns out he is 49!! That is nearly my fathers age!!! I started talking to the guy later on, who told me he was 21 too. We talked for a while and I gave him my number, we talked randomly all week. Next weekend I see him at a BBQ at this friends house, it comes out that he's only 17 good thing we didn't hook up. Why would you let a 17 in your bar? What a moron Link to comment

I don't see the point in lying about your age, it would make me wonder what else they are lying about. I agree, she was probably self conscious about her age, but it would have to come out sooner or later. It's just strange because you said she looked young also. Link to comment

She lied about her age because she feared you would be put off knowing she is really 26 - but she told the truth because she feared you would eventually find out the truth if you dated her.
