I am thinking about taking a week off early next month and spending the entire week searching for jobs and applying. i think that would be productive. Link to comment

If you live in the US, when you leave your company they have to pay you for all accrued vacation. So that would be like an extra month's paycheck, which can be helpful when making a job change (you could also slip a week or two in there for vacation). Link to comment
