I finally pushed myself to do it...

Yeah he did. He gave up his NYE plans of going out of town to be with his friends for a boys'-night-out to be there for me.

I guess that just sort of tipped it off. Someone out there is willing to make sacrifices for me.

And these are the "keepers", the ones you can always count on.

Hope you're feeling better...

Thank you SO much for your kind words!!!! Seriously, that is such a sweet post and I appreciate it immensely.

Eventually, life will go on for both of us... There MUST be someone out there who will treat us the way we deserve to be treated. I don't know what to believe when it comes to a "Higher Power", but I do feel like the universe has something in store for good people =)

Thank you!

The idea of a higher power is strictly just sometihng to take the weight off your shoulders. Doesn't have to be "god" or anything at all. My own doesn't have a look or anything to it. I call it "HP". I just say "I'm turning it over to you. Do for me what I can't do for myself" and I feel instantly better. It's just a simple concept. Nothing religious at all if your'e not comfortable with that.

Yeah, exactly...for me, it's just... whatever the universe has in store for me.. some hippy-dippy sheeeat. The "find god and you will be set free" crap makes me run for the hills

i was atheist before i joined a 12-step. now i realize it's not about religion at all. it's just what is comfortable for you and knowing something out there is greater than you and can take care of you when you can't take care of yourself.

iLoveMyBabyCairo,

I think as time goes by you will come to see this deep connection you had with him was somewhat imagined. A real deep connection does not fade when the person is out of site. He has shown his true character with his actions.

Hope you feel better soon.

lost

Thank you.... actually, this is one of the most insightful things I've heard/read in awhile... I'm going to write that down in fact.
