littlej
So I have been crushing on this girl that works at the mall. I have been running into her for months. Last week we chatted for a minute and I found out she was working a lot during the holidays and was returning to grad school soon. I think she cuts back to weekends. Anyway when we parted ways I caught her blushing. I was like I need to just ask her out. Fast forward to today. I work up the courage and ask her some advice on a gift. We were chatting and I was like lets try to meet up for lunch before school starts again. She was like yes definitely. I said lets exchange numbers and she was like lets exchange them the next time your in I need to get back. When she walked away I could swear she was beet red again. What gives? Was this a rejection, shyness or she was just busy? Should I even try again? Link to comment

Casperlady
She may be just shy try askin for her number again if she brushes it off then she is not interested and the blushin is probably embarasment in that case but there is no harm in trying and if she does brush you off then you know she isnt worth it Link to comment
littlej
i hope so. Its not like im a creep or something. It just struck me as odd. I would think it takes nerves of steel to ask out the same girl again after that shaky response. Link to comment
littlej
Thanks Casper, she was really enthusiastic then I asked her out but the number not so much. Link to comment
JustBeachy
I've done similar things. Maybe she can't give her # out at work? I've had that happen a few times. I eventually got it later. Ask her to meet up for drinks or coffee when she gets off of work. You can pick her up. Link to comment
littlej
My friend and I were thinking that way too Beachy but it is hard enough to ask out a girl in front of others once, but twice? That takes steel. I'll give it a shot. Link to comment
