So what do I do with wishes for New Years? Respond to the text wishing him all I would if we were still together (I have a special wish-set for him) or just ignore???

NC would mean ignore any texts, right? If you'd rather, send him your well wishes NOW and then start 2009 with a 'fresh determination'...afterall, our diets and NC and all other promises don't start till tomorrow, right?

I was strong by your advice yup let him MISS me - and he started calling like crazy and leaving desperate messages!

Finally I answered and he wasn't drunk at all! Said he misses me yada yada - of coarse I don't read that as an intention of coming back to me - but what the heck?

 

Maybe there is a chance to make him want me again if he was that desperate to just talk - ?

Some people just sent texts to everyone on their lists. Some EX's still like to see you as "friends" because you were closer than with other random people. That's why they need a little reunion, it's like with that family you see once in 10 years but you send a Chrismas card every year.
