MECguyRen
If you are from North America, the help would be appreciated. I come from a very international background, travel a lot, and while I speak multiple languages, English is my best. My problem is that I have no, absolutely NO difficulty carrying on conversations with girls from foreign countries (mainly European) in English or their languages...and thus also tend to attract foreign women more... However, I do still live here in north america, and most people (aka, girls) i interact with will be from here. However, if the conversation is of a romantic nature...or flirting...I seem to have more trouble with it...ironically enough...! I run outta things to talk about fairly quickly if we're talking about the average girl who has lived in one place her whole life and hasn't traveled much. In fact, most of the time I get bored...and so do they...! Do I really need to focus more on local pop culture and stuff? And what other things? I rarely run outta things to talk about with foreign women because I always surprise them with what I know cuz I read and study a lot of foreign cultures and languages. However, it doesn't work too well locally...lol...cuz I appear to know more international things than about the country I live in... Link to comment

Maybe these local girls are getting bored because they view your knowledge of foreign cultures and languages as something they don't relate to... I mean, they aren't finding any common ground with you. You may want to study up on the area in which you're living now, and focus on the girl's experiences and how you can relate to it, and vice versa. Link to comment
