I put my new 1st Phone Call Strategy to test and it WORKED!!!!, Bring on 2009!!!!

Today I used my 1st phone call strategy when I talked to this new girl and I had no idea it would work this good. It worked so well that she wants to meet me TODAY and take a walk. The conversation lasted 90 mins and it didn't even feel like it.

 

So for a while when I talk to girls for the first time, I will be looking at my notepad until I become very good at it.

 

 

I'm so proud of myself, it was just about making an adjustment to my communication skills and now that I see how well it worked that gives me CONFIDENCE now when I talk to other girls and that's why I predict a lot of dating success in 2009.

 

 

 

 

BTW: I'm not meeting her today, i have to come up with a lie-lol That's a little too fast.

I wrote down about 40 interesting questions to ask her that are fun and weird and the same time. And I didn't ask them back to back to back. I just knew where to go back too when it was time for my next question. So she was impressed enough to ask me out today but she said she didn't want to be TOO FORWARD. That's let me know that I have a good list of questions to get the girl to laugh and say-"where did that question come from?

 

 

Also it a time during the conversation when she asked"what would be your most creative date idea?

 

 

I responded with confidence-"TO HAVE YOU COME OVER MY PLACE SO I CAN FIX YOU SOME FRENCH FRIES AND CHICKEN NUGGETS WITH A COLD GLASS OF LEMONADE WHILE WATCHING A MARATHON OF THREE"S COMPANY"

 

 

LOL-of course I was joking and she loved it.

i'm glad you had a good conversation. are you too shy to meet her today or is it just one of your rules?? the best people/dates i met were when we did meet up fairly quickly and spontaneously, because i am spontaneous myself....nothing happened with the ones who took a long time.

 

The strategy is coming up with questions that are a combination of fun and weird.

 

it took me 3 hours to develop this strategy.

 

it's good to practice, but only practice with the intention that it will help you be less nervous and will allow you to be yourself.

I'm glad your call went well, but really one time is not really enough to judge whether or not this is a successful strategy. What I mean is, maybe you just clicked with this girl and regardless of what approach you took, you would have hit it off. Now if it succeeds multiple times, we may have something here!

 

Either way, it sounds like this strategy makes you more confident, and that's what's most important - good luck!

I'm not in the mood to impress anyone today face to face. I just want to relax and enjoy my christmas gifts and eat cookies. I would be open to meeting on friday or saturday.

 

I do remember meeting someone new on christmas day in 1999. But today I want to get some rest.

I would soooo be good with chicken nuggets, fries and lemonade! Three's company is always a hoot as well.....I know you said you were kidding, but that is actually a cute date idea if she is cool enough to go for it.

 

 

Yeah, I actually think it is a good idea as well...but it would have to be the Three's Company episodes with the Ropers not the ones with Don Knotts.

I blamed myself for her asking me that because to me it meant the conversation was DYING and that was her od way of trying to save it. So if I had better communication skills on that day, the weird question would have never been asked. I take full responsibility for her stupid question.-lol

i remember i came up with a list once, when i was 15 or 16. i was talking to this guy who liked me, our families know each other. he visited ontario for the holidays and went back home to arizona. so i came up with a list of 5 or 6 things to talk about. man was i nervous!! but once we started the convo it was good.
