anyone else feelin lonely during their holidays?

ive tried really hard to get in the x-mas spirit, x-mas tree, wrapping presents, everything. but after my SO broke up with me, it doesn't really feel special anymore to do it alone.

two of my friends got engaged in the last week, and i cant help but feel totally bummed out that i am again alone at christmas. ho hum...

yeah i get super bitter and emotional around the holidays.

my alcoholic father always ruined them by embarrassing himself and every one else, and 3 xmas' ago he told us he's terminally ill. this summer my parents got separated so i have 2 days of xmas. not looking forward to it.

Christmas is just another day of the week. I got nothing to be happy about. My girl left me a few months ago, my parents have these problems and its affecting me to, I have a smashed up truck that isn't getting repaired, everyone else is living it up but I am not, and a heck of a lot of people have someone to hold them in their arms but not I.

same here. my bf and i are spending xmas separately with our families, but xmas night we'll see each other. i'm sure i'll be a mess. i'm turning into a total grinch.

I only got to spend 1 with my ex ex, and I'm sure I'll spend all day pissed off because I'll be thinking about my most recent ex and her "fiance".

I know how you feel. I'm kind of lonely too. I usually get SO psyched for the holidays but this year is different, somehow. I'm broke, single and live alone. Last year, I had a boyfriend, had a lot of money and lived with roommates. Ugh. Sorry
