sythdrummer9
Well, Heres my deal. I recently (but not too recently) ended a 2 year very serious relationship (another cliché girl-leaves-boy-for-boy's-bestfriend story). Well, its been a little while and I decided to get back into the dating scene. Heres the situation- I started really liking this girl (Im a senior in college and she's a freshman) and we've been acting very flirty. I recently told her I like her, and she said she likes me too. Well i asked her if she would consider making me her boyfriend. She said "i dont know- Let me think about it." Well, that I dont know is still pending, and im driving myself completely nuts over waiting for that answer... My question for you is how do i just chill out and await her answer? Link to comment
NJRon
Hmm... I don't think I would have gone straight to the boyfriend thing... have you two even had a date yet? Link to comment
sythdrummer9
thats what im kind of shooting for now- casual dating Link to comment
NJRon
If you wanted to casually date, then why did you ask to be her boyfriend. If I were you I'd give it a rest for a bit, you overplayed your cards. Then, ask her out for a light date. Don't mention the "boyfriend/girlfriend" thing until you see things going that direction. Balbina
I also would suggest asking her out on a date before you "ask her out"... Link to comment
