Okay, well me and my boyfriend recently attempted having sex for the first time. We were comfortable, and we used protection, and we've been together ages.

 

Dear me.. it HURT. We didn't use lubrication so I expected a little discomfort but my gosh.. it hurt, a lot. I don't think it got in there.

 

My period also came really early. I know this usually happens after sex but I don't think we actually had sex.

 

Does anyone have any advice, other than to use lube next time, or any idea why my period came so early?

It's pretty normal to feel pain when you have sex for the first time. My first time was similar to yours -- it didn't get in all the way and it was pretty painful. You probably bled because the hymen was torn or partially torn. Totally normal.

Next time try some lube and just be patient. Eventually it gets fun!

I didn't bleed then, it was 3 days ago and my period just started now. But it's like 10 days early :S

It seems pretty normal. I was on the pill so I had no change in periods. It hurt the first weeks and we were doing it regularly just to get past the painful times. It got lots better, and then we couldn't stop doing it

periods shift. i don't think sex influences it earlier or later than just your body doing it's thing.
