Sense of time.

Do some people honestly not have a very good sense of time?

Yes. Just like some people don't have a very good sense of direction and others do.

I never lose track of time but it seems that alot of people do. Curoius if they really do, or if it is just an excuse.... what are your thoughts on this?

Oh, sometimes showing up late is some weird sort of passive-aggressive/control thing. But in some cases there is no malicious intent, and the person is one of those folks who just can't get their crap together.

I have known a particular gal since junior high. She ALWAYS runs 20 minutes late. Doesn't matter who is waiting for her or what the event is, to this day (some 30 years later) she is still running on her own time.

Once you see a pattern like that, you can learn to compensate for it because getting someone else to change is like teaching a pig to sing -- it wastes your time and annoys the pig.

I'm sure there are many that are bad with time...or they are too busy. Some days with my regular job, running my business, and trying to spend as much time as possible with the family especially our daughter it's very easy to lose track of time. Last night was one of those nights!

On the other hand if there are any scheduling or appointments and events that are important I try to keep track of time and be on time. Another reason why I have to have my phone & a little notepad or else with my ADD I forget everything the next minute!

Eh people can have a bad sense of time, but I could never be with someone who was compulsively late. annoying imo.
