Girl's Imput- Guys with tongue rings

I have had my tongue ring for 2 years since this past Halloween and let's just say I've gotten to use it once or twice. Now, of course, the girls I've been with have enjoyed it immensely but I still have a lot of conservative female friends that actually think it's gross that a guy would have one. Every one that disapproves of me having one can't give me an explanation as to why they don't like it. I was wondering if anyone here could explain the reasoning behind this.

 

Also, I have a fairly long tongue-I've been compared to Gene Simmons lol...I'm contemplating getting a second stud below the first one since the first one is further back then "normal". Good or bad idea for cunnilingus to have two?

Coming from a lesbian point of view, one of the reasons i fell for my girl was because of her tongue ring....she doesn't have one now and its nicer i think because her tongue is softer and much much more sensual. I think in the "single" world its cool. (kinda exciting) in the relationship stage (3 years now) its overdone.....

I'm always finding myself playing with it throughout the day when I'm not using it for oral. I've even gotten a couple of hook ups just because a girl sees that I have one and breaks the ice by commenting on it.

Your avatar brought this idea into my head...broccoli often gets wrapped into the teeth...does it ever get wrapped around a tongue ring? How exactly do you eat with a tongue ring...do you take it off when you eat? As you can see, this whole tongue ring thing is pretty foreign to me...not quite my generation! Mind you, today I just learned what a wii is!

Eating isn't a problem at all. I've never had anything get stuck on it (even peanut butter haha) I never take it out except to change it out or go to the dentist and I've never had a problem with food compacting around it or getting infected. I was even able to have it in when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. I talk normally (no lisp) and it doesn't chip my teeth when I talk. To be honest you can't tell I have one unless I show you.

same with me..ive had my tongue pierced for about 6 years now and i have friends who have had no idea that i had my tongue pierced. its actucally gauged at like a 6 or 8 now. i forget. I only had one problem when i bit down on it and cracked my tooth in half. i had to rush to the dentist and lucky my mom worked there and was able to get me in...But All the girls i talk to love the tongue ring. All my guy friends think it gay.....Girls opinion over rules the guys..lol plus i like the tongue ring. I actucally got it on a bet and ended up keeping it.

I think tongue rings on guys are extremely trashy, and I'd never want anyone I was "with" to have one. As well as any girls-they are still trashy to me, ah tongue rings in general remind me of straight trash

I know plenty of guys that have tongue rings, however have never been with a guy with a tongue ring. But I think they're hot!
