How can we be in a relationship with our SO for so long, share so many memories and love eachother... then everything ends and we never speak to eachother again.

 

I've spent almost every single day with my ex for the past year... and we have not spoken for a week and a half... I do not see up speaking ever again.

I was with my ex everyday for the last 9 years....and it ended three months ago. We haven't talked since...and I don't plan on ever speaking to him again.

 

It's not always like that tho, a lot of ppl remain friends, but I don't see how.

my bf of 2yrs broke up with me and i in no way intend to be friends, i dont see how people can be cool with someone who broke their heart

All i can say is that it is best to move on, forgive and forget as they say. It seems silly to me to cut someone out of your life entirely . . . forever, especially someone who knows so much about you.

 

I used to think I'd never talk to my ex after what happened, but we do occasionally contact each other for advice. If you keep things in perspective and don't rush into anything there is no need to be uncivil.
