How can you break up with someone who makes it impossible to?

 

 

 

im in love with them but they cheat on me. and i dont know wat to do. i want to break up but they say stuff to make it impossible for me to. The things they say, i just dont know what to do. No matter what im the one whos getting hurt wether i break up or not...

Yes, you are so right. Breaking up with a cheater or not is like choosing your own poison, it's going to hurt either way. The reason people chose to break up is like chosing a poison you only have to take once instead of the poison you would have to take over and over again if you were to stay together.

I have been in the same situation. Yes, you will get hurt either way but if you choose to leave him you can atleast have hope that you will get over him and be happy again. If you stay with him, you will never have that chance.

As others here have said, it's going to hurt you either way. Unfortunately, when we're put in these situations where we have difficult decisions to make, the right decision is often the most painful one.

 

In your case, however, the wrong decision (staying in this relationship) would, in the long run, be the more painful decision.

Cheaters are often smooth talkers and know all the right things to say and all the right strings to pull in order to get what they want.
