I think you should simply tell her that you are doing nothing that you should not be doing, you don't appreciate being told what to do and if she can't handle that then she isn't the girl for you after all.

I agree with what most others have said--with the exception of one poster who dumped her bf over something like this--I think you should be clear with her about your view on this and if she persists in being unreasonable, you should reevaluate the relationship and whether or not there is any potential here for the long term. She sounds like the incredibly insecure/jealous type...this would drive me up the wall really quickly in a new relationship. I just don't deal well with it. But maybe if this is just a one-off thing she can get over, there is hope.

It seems like you aren't doing anything wrong, especially if you have met the girls that you befriended on Facebook in real life. Your gf is having some trust issues. I admit that I only befriend people on my Facebook account if I have seen them before and I think that you are cautious to add suspicious people to you friend list and that's good.
