MD Geist
Does that count as kissing a person? Does anyone even do that these days anymore?. Whats the best way to approach it?. Link to comment
waveseer
I don't know if anyone does that, I'd sure like it. I don't think it counts as kissing though because traditionally it was an act of chivalry. Link to comment
hiphop3
my bf and i kiss each others hands but usually if we're on the couch cuddling or something. Link to comment
kaoticbaby
i haven't ever had a guy, other than a boyfriend, kiss my hand. i wouldn't say it counts as "kissing" the person, though. only lips count for me, i think. as far as approaching it... hmm... you might be better off just giving them a kiss on the cheek. ClementineK
I would say, yes it would count as kissing someone depending on the situation, etc. Yes, some people still do it. Best way to approach it? Use your best judgment and go for it! Link to comment
yeawutever
Some guys do that when talking to a girl they like so yes it does count a courtesy kiss. My b/f did this on the rather 1 week of getting to know each other. Link to comment
shikashika
No it doesnt. i only count a full tongue-involved kiss as a proper kiss.... in my books anyway. Link to comment

Lacey
Depends on the circumstances surrounding the kiss. If there is sexual tension and he brings your had to his lips and kisses softly while looking into your eyes with desire then yes.. its a kiss. I know ots of older men who have kissed my hand though and it's just a polite action. Link to comment
JeckyllNHyde
Does that count as kissing a person? Does anyone even do that these days anymore?. Whats the best way to approach it?. I don't like guys kissing my hand or touching me too much if we haven't even been on a date. It makes me a bit uncomfy lol. The only person who kisses my hand or ever has is my bf but only if we're hanging out he does it casually. I love it. I would find it cute I guess if a guy did it at the end of the date b/c he was holding out on kissing me on the lips. To me it doesn't count as kissing a person though. It's like a kiss on the cheek IMO or maybe not even that. Link to comment
fr0z3n
I kissed my GF's hand when I'm with her (excluding the times when we're at school)... I think she like it, she said it once... Link to comment
metrogirl
There was an older gentleman where I used to work and every morning when he would see me, he would gently take my had and kiss it. It was the sweetest thing. Link to comment

secretness87
Does that count as kissing a person? Does anyone even do that these days anymore?. Whats the best way to approach it?. My boyfriend kisses my hand, I like it, haha. And he does it at random times, like when we're driving somewhere and he's holding my hand, he'll randomly pick it up and kiss it....or if we're cuddling and watching a movie he'll do it too. But yeah, I don't think it counts as kissing a person though... but I still think it's a nice thing to do lol Link to comment
wmped
What do you guys think about someone who is trying to initiate a little more physical contact? I've heard how important this is to the ladies in order to make them feel more comfortable around a guy they are dating. Would you preceive it as an act of "gateway" physicality or just being charming ? Link to comment
ghost69
i do it. only girls i'm actually with though as in bf/gf. i've also done it joking around. Link to comment
