Shudder
Ok so I was just wondering if it was appropriate to hit on people when they are at work? I'll give u a short example. Around 2 days ago I was at a cellphone booth in the mall here asking about the new blackberry phone blabla jargon etc.. and the person helping me was pretty cute, on her lunch break.. I wanted to take it further (ask for number) but wasn't sure what the etiquette was for this kinda situation.. She seemed pretty cool and interested in carrying a convo... So.. how do you guys go abt this? Link to comment
COtuner
It could get her fired in many cases. At most I'd suggest slipping her a business card or something with either your number or a suggestion to meet up after her shift somewhere and then going away if you aren't going to buy anything. x_perfect_stranger_x
Ive been hit on at work, its very uncomfortable. I hate when clients ask me out for coffee on my lunch break, plus, lunch breaks are to relax before going back to the chaos of work. but its different for everyone. Link to comment

It made me uncomfortable because it wasn't like I could just walk away from the situation if I wanted to because I was working. Link to comment
purpleduckie
i would flirt to see how she responds. if she flirts back then, you're good to go. if she doesn't and stiffles, then you know your cue! Link to comment
