I was under the impression that almost everyone did at least some sort of landscaping and maintenance. I feel great about doing a mixture of trimming/shaving, it would just be weird not too. Shaving the nards is really not hard at all. There's the whole fear factor to get over the first couple times, but I can go in and get the job done pretty quickly without worrying about snagging anything.
