Boyfriend? should I back off?

Okay, there is the girl I kind of like, her friend told me she kind of likes me. However, she has a boyfriend. She sounds kind of dissappointed in him. He is very mean to her makes fun of her and he told her he still likes his ex. Now, he also said he doesnt want to break up with her because hes afraid they wont be friends.. She said she likes him but she doesnt really know. I think she is confused.. I try helping the best I can without acctaully telling her to get rid of that loser. Well, should I back off or should I keep after her or give her a little space let her come to me?

Just continue being a friend to her and try not to interfere in their relationship. As much as you may care for her, her relationship is still her business and not yours. If she leaves him, it needs to be by her decision. The most you can do is wait patiently and give her advice as a friend when she needs it.
