If one chats on MSN with a friend everyday, would this overwhelm the friend?

I just think by doing this I'm being a burden. Would this put someone off?

it depends on the topic of this chat. If i'm being asked for advice or something like that everyday, yes it would not only be burdening, but i'd feel used. if we're just talking away and having fun, no it's not burdening.

I do often ask for advice and sometimes I feel guilty since I do feel I am burdening her. I suppose I shouldn't do it as often.

Does she ever initiate the chat? I mean it depends on the person i personally like to talk to people when i get on the IM client hence the reason i get on there... to chat with people.

Yes, she does initiate the chat some of the time. If I log in sometimes, she would nudge me and we'd chat.

 

I suppose I'm worried since she has been nice and I don't want to drive her away. I guess I'm also a bit starved for friendship so to speak since I've moved to a new country last year and haven't had the opportunity to make new friends until now.

I talk to most of my friends on MSN or Yahoo every day. I love it. if I don't want to talk to someone, I just ignore them but for the most part with the exception of a small few I only talk to them if they initiate chat first.
