Why doesn't the ex understand No Contact?

I keep getting sent text messages from my ex, and I wanted to know how should I deal with them.

 

The messages are pretty uninspiring - such as I have left something in your car, or can you do something for me?

 

I don't understand it because only 2 days ago I explained to her that if she didn't want me anymore then we cannot remain friends and I didn't want her to contact me anymore.

But she is sending me 'open' questions that I feel obliged to respond to even if it is a simple 'no' reply.

She's testing you. If you really can't be friends, stop responding. She'll probably escalate contact, but if you stay silent, she'll eventually get the message.

Just stop responding. There is no need to feed her need for contact with you.
