Jim2007
I broke up with my first serious g/f of 2 years and have only been NC for 2 weeks and I don't feel sadness at all. I went from not eating and losing 20 lbs to not giving a ____ anymore in a matter of 2 months. All I can say is keep a positive outlook on life, and live life as if nothing ever happened. For me, I thought about all the bad times we had, things she did to annoy me, and things about her that turned me off.. it kept myself proud of my decision to end it. I know I will meet someone better than her and life is to short to hurt like that. I can't believe I actually thought I'd be depressed for a long time. Link to comment

Daegas
Just don't loose the idea in any relationship there will be things that annoy you and turn you off..... Link to comment
TBE_1989
That's really great, go you! Never give yourself a hard time if you get over a relationship sooner than you think! Not aimed at thread starter, just a point : I always find it ironic how we never beat ourselves up if we cry all the time and find breakups really really difficult, but if we heal sooner than expected we immediately question it and feel almost guilty for feeling good again and having closure. Interesting. Link to comment

StillSmiling
No offense meant, and I am happy for your healing .... But, if you were the dumper, you had a head start on many of us here ... Link to comment
Mutley
I have about 2 months and I feel pretty good as well. and I was the DUMPEE. It gets to the point were it's nice not having to put up with the insane crap. Every relationship is going to have problems....but some are downright pathological. Link to comment
