Stars_n_Guitars
My boyfriend is uncircumcised. He's the first guy i've been with that is uncut. I did research online about an uncircumcised one, seen drawings and real pictures. I'm a bit concerned because I wasn't able to pull back(retract) the skin to reveal the head of his penis. There were no other problems with his penis. It was able to achieve erection. I was wondering is there something wrong with his penis if it hurts to pull back the foreskin? Should he get circumcised? He says he's never orgasmed during intercourse with a woman....could this be the reason? If his skin doesn't retract, would this keep him from cumming? If anyone has any ideas about this, I'd be happy to hear it. Thanks. Link to comment
renaissancewoman101
My ex was uncircumcised. It didn't cause any problems with us having sex. But he was very fastidious about cleaning himself before we actually had sex. Like he would wash himself down there before we would go about having sex. Link to comment
Raiden1044
well the head is the most sensitive part of a penis, I can tell you it would be pretty hard to get an orgasm if that part isn't being stimulated. I thought you were supposed to still be able to see the head or at least somehow expose the head of the penis. It would certainly explain why he hasn't cummed durring sex before. Circumcision is certainly an option and he may benefit from it sexually. It's also surgery on the penis Needless to say, it's not something we're wild about. Link to comment
Samedy
How far can you pull it back? He could get it checked out by his family doctor. I had this problem. Went to my doctor and was referred to a urologist. The urologist looked at it and told me I had to get it cut. From my research on the subject, if the skin cannot be pulled back far enough it is very difficult to clean that area properly. It also increases the chances of cancer later in life, which is why they say it has to be circumcised if it doesn't go back far enough. Link to comment

On the pic that I saw...the drawing it looks just like his. I think some penis' the head shows a bit, I saw it in pictures. I thought that could be a reason he couldn't orgasm. thanks. I've talked to a jewish guy...forget what he called himself...he does circumcisions on adult men and doesn't use anything. It's not suppose to bleed much at all, like a drop or so. Link to comment

It sure does bleed.. I almost threw-up after the surgery and couldn't walk right for 2 weeks... It's a surgery.. see a surgeon.. not some quack. Link to comment

So you got yours cut? did it hurt? did they have to put you under? I couldn't pull it back much at all. never saw the head. We didn't have intercourse, and I didn't give him oral, I just looked at it and touched it a bit, scientific observance... ha. But it looked very clean. Link to comment

Samedy
Yeah, I had mine done. They put me under. In some ways it didn't hurt as much as I expected, in other ways it hurt more than I could possibly believe. It took about a month to heal. For the first couple of weeks a loose string on a towel would send shock waves over my whole body. Sleeping was also difficult. Since guys get erections during sleep fairly regularly (morning wood), I would wake up a lot because the pain of that was almost so intense. But it did heal and I know it was the right thing to do. How old were you when you had it done? Is sex better now than it was then? are your orgasms as intense as they were before you were circumcised? Link to comment
Samedy
I was 20. Sex is better. But keep in mind, I could barely pull my foreskin back at all. So even though those nerves are more sensitive on uncircumcised men, because I couldn't expose that part, that area was not being stimulated (well as much). Link to comment
annie24
why isn't he going to a doctor about this himself? Link to comment
Stars_n_Guitars
why isn't he going to a doctor about this himself? He really didn't know anything was wrong. I was wondering about it. Still was until this thread. I will tell him what I found out on here and see what he says about circumcision. Right now i don't care about how it would affect our sex life, i'm just concerned about his health. Link to comment
Samedy
He should try and get a referral to a urologist. At first I went to one doctor, he said it was no big deal. Then I read an article online that said that the chances of cancer increases with this condition (This affect approx. .001% of men, if my memory serves me right, which it rarely does). After I read the article I went back to my doctor and got a referral to a urologist. The urologist took one look at it and was booking the surgery shortly after. *and now everyone knows a little more about Samedy. Nice to meet you all.. lol Link to comment
annie24
yes, i agree, referral to the urologist.... why can't he orgasm with a woman? does it hurt or something? can he orgasm manually? nice to get to know extra details about you sam. Link to comment

It's not like he'll get it tomorrow if he doesn't get the operation. It would occur later, mid-life, if it does at all. Link to comment

annie24
i'd have him get a referral to a urologist and have them check it out.... it could be nothing too.... has he tried using lube manually? could make things go smoother... Link to comment
Samedy
link removed The condition is called Phimosis: Excerpt: Potential complications of acquired phimosis Chronic complications of acquired (pathological) phimosis can include discomfort or pain during urination or sexual intercourse. The urinary stream can be impeded, resulting in dribbling and wetness after urination. Harmful urinary obstruction is possible but uncommon. Pain may occur when a partially retractable foreskin retracts during intercourse and chokes the glans penis. A totally non-retractable foreskin is rarely painful. There is some evidence that phimosis may be a risk factor for penile cancer.[14] *Warning. The link posted contains a page that has images of peepers. Medical pics of peepers. Link to comment

I introduced him to lube for masturbation. I don't have a clue if he's using it or not..lol..haven't asked about it, I actually forgot that I gave it to him. You think it would help him retract the skin? Link to comment
Riley99
I would be really careful about suggesting that he do anything, unless he brings it up first. Guys are VERY sensitive about their "package" and you would not want him to think that you are unsatisfied at all with him or don't like the fact that he is uncircumsized. My bf is uncircumsized and I've never mentioned anything and never will. Of course, we don't have any problems in that department, so there is nothing I would need to mention. Just be very sensitive and careful to his male ego. If you do say something that could be construed as negative I would start with, "I love you just the way you are but I have heard that being circumsized can be good for your health" or something like that ... Good luck! Link to comment

Good luck! I don't have a problem with the look of it. I'm concerned for his health and I think he understands that genuine concern. If there's a way to keep from getting a circumcision, I'd recommend it to him. So far, all I hear is it would be helpful to be circumcised. I encouraged him to try to retract the skin daily...maybe his body isn't use to it. I don't know if that will help or make the problem worse...ANYONE KNOW? Link to comment
