ImThatGirl
, hit the gym or do some cardio somehow and chew a lot of gum. it will make your jawline jump back out. . Chewing gum helps that! No wonder you chew gum all the time.! (Heading out to the car to get my gum out of the car...!) Link to comment
drewciouS281
When i was in highschool i had the skater mushroom cut with the sides shaved under neath. at one point it was halfway down my neck. I was tired of maintaining it and wanted a change. i didnt know what sort of change to do so i just gave myself a buzz cut and started from scratch. You dont have to shave it military style but atleast down to a 2 or 3. i could see you with a buzz cut. Link to comment
ImThatGirl
^^ I was kinda thinking of suggesting that. Just cut it all off - start from scratch. If not super short, at least get it cut much shorter. It just seems too long. Link to comment
ghost69
Chewing gum helps that! No wonder you chew gum all the time.! (Heading out to the car to get my gum out of the car...!) there are also neck exercises you can do too. OP, also, don't look so nervous taking a picture. Link to comment
drewciouS281
i take it back. a buzzed head might look funny on you. why dont you pay the money and go to a well reputable stylist. They have those computer programs that can show you what your hair will look like with certain cuts. Link to comment
hers
I don't think buzzed all the way down to his head woudl look good, but short enough to be styled with gel may be nice, I think. Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
Leaving for haircut in 5 minutes, still not sure what I'm going to ask for. Link to comment
ghost69
just don't get a reverse mohawk. my friend had one and thought it was so funny. it actually was. it's where they shave straight down the middle and leave everything else. lol. Link to comment

hers
Not bad. Your sideburns are still a little long but it's definitely a flattering cut on you. Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
but I've had these sideburns since 8th grade Link to comment
hers
Um, ok? What does that matter? Link to comment
Clarity
This is just my 2 cents, and I'm a guy, so definitely take or leave it at your discretion, but I'll give you my dead honest opinion (hopefully it's not taken harshly): I think the sideburns and goatee combine to give you a "middle-aged" look that belies your youth - and not in a good way. I would lose them both and also shorten the hair on top quite a bit. Throw some gel in it and mess it up a bit. If you want youthful facial hair, maybe just just let some stubble grow and not just around the chin/mustache area. Even though I think it's a combination of lighting/shadows and the headphones covering your sideburns, I think you look quite a bit better in your avatar photo than your current photos. If that shadow on your face was stubble, your mustache/goatee was not as pronounced, your sideburns were gone, and your hair was less combed and a little more messed up in a bit of organized chaos - I think you could look pretty handsome. I don't know what it is about your avatar photo, but I think it's the best photo I've seen of you. Just my 2 cents. Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
It's my best picture because, like you said, half my flaws are hidden in shadows/low resolution. Link to comment
Clarity
It's my best picture because, like you said, half my flaws are hidden in shadows/low resolution. Right, and most of these "flaws" are correctable (sideburns, goatee)... Link to comment
BetterKarma
The long hair, goatee and sideburns make you look older. Shorten the hair, get rid of the sideburns and shave!! Link to comment
ghost69
honestly, i think you look the same just a bit shorter. Link to comment
curiousofthat
I would shorten the top and put gel in it. Mess it up. Keep a low growth goatee. Don't do a stash... that's so 80's. Side burns are out of style. The messed up hair is in and totally sexy. Give it a try. High hair on the top isn't popular right now. I say shave the burns gel the hair and take a pic and post it up. See what kind of results you get. Link to comment

afrodite79
but I've had these sideburns since 8th grade I'm going to be in the minority but I think your sideburns look great. I love sideburns. If you like them then keep them but that's just my biased opinion. Link to comment
May_It_Be
I agree about the side-burns, but don't shave. I think facial hair ALWAYS looks best on a man. Put some gel in your hair and spike it up a bit. Link to comment
