ATLstudent
My dreams have varied, growing up and still I really want to be in a band, as a singer and guitar player, other than a love of music i havent really pursued it though. I now still feel the same but realistically i dont see much happening with it, but i still want to try it out in some way. One of my new dreams is to be a successful photographer, and work for a magazine. My dreams give me something to live, fight, work for. Something that makes life interesting and exotic and something i really want in life. Question is am i just a dreamer, not living or seeing reality, are followng these dreams childish, in reality its not such a pretty world and things dont always work out, but do i still press on, no matter how unlikley my chances of success are, is it a stupid unrealistic move thats gonna end up hurting my life. Do i pursue these 'dreams' Link to comment
Raistlin
If you want to be in a band or photographer, what's stopping you other than you? Of course you should pursue your dreams if you have the means. That's why each of us is unique! You can have your own passions and dreams. Not everyone gets the chance to accomplish their dreams, so I urge those who do to just do it! Link to comment
Lana0120
I don't think it's stupid or childish to have or pursue a dream. However, you have to be willing to put in the hard work and make the sacrifices to make dreams work. You have to be hungry. Link to comment
Batya33
It's fine to have dreams as long as you don't let the dreams stand in the way of implementing a plan for your future career. What's best is to figure out what steps you can take to realizing your dream and taking those steps. Link to comment
