Should i call them?

Hi,

I just applied for a job at the body shop store, i really want this job!

I sent in my CV 3 days ago i haven't heard anything yet, just wanted to know if i should call them? If so what should i say? I'm not very good with phone calls and always bit nervous when it comes to new jobs.

I would give it a few more business days. Generally, I wait 10 full business days AFTER the week I submitted the application to call.

I agree with the above post. Generally though, I have to admit that I don't ever make follow up calls. If it's been two weeks, I assume that I didn't get it (although sometimes they're lazy and I've been offered part-time jobs a full month after my application was submitted, in the past).
