I think a scenario such as yours is one of a multiplicity of common reasons a person would choose to go to a prostitute. It certainly is not only sad and ugly losers who pay for sex. Yes downtown Naperville has a lot of women, but a lot of them are dam picky!. If the girls weren't so dam picky about my features and my height, I could find someone. I don't think every single woman out there is going to be picky about how you look physically so you are defeating your own self with your thoughts. In fact, I think someone out there is going to be thankful to have found you one day. It is just a matter of being found. I think it is a matter of involving yourself in activities that lend the opportunity to meet women with like interests. You have to put yourself out there, honestly. Just sit and watch couples and think about how every single one of them started from your position at one time. There is someone out there for everyone but I fear taking the prositution route will poison your well of hope. I only say this because if you were compelled to get it over and done with you would be making plans to go to Vegas *now* instead of at the end of the decade. You have hope! See what I mean? There have been many times where girls have the same interests as me like running, sports, same music, same taste of foods, rollerblading and cars! But still they don't want to go out and give me a chance to show what kind of guy I am..Getting a gf is so hard!! A lot of you will disagree, but its true for me. Nothing works for me at all..Even sharing the same EXACT interests does not work at all, I know why..Its plain and simple, I just can't attract at all](*,) I have been in many activities before. I currently play hockey on a mens league team 2 times a week. I also go to the park a lot and I run a few miles..I go to car shows and I sometimes go out to eat. I remember being a virgin in my late teens and being tormented by it, thank God I got my first one out of the way with a girl I'm proud of and a good story to go with it. I can't imagine how this poor soul feels being 30 and a virgin. iwishiknew, if you don't mind me asking, why is it that you think you'll never have sex? Honestly, the way I look at it, for your first time, don't be picky. Just make sure you find a girl you can be proud to say you lost it to, or at least have a good story to tell about it. But if your a guy my age (28) with very little experience with women and years of bitterness and eventual hatred for your fellow man have destroyed your capability to love, unfortunately you are still left with the same needs that any other man has and sending Valentines Day cards to your dominant hand gets old after a while. I was born with exotosis, it is a bone disorder that I have on my knee, fingers, and my arm. I also kind of look like a mid-size dwarf, which someone asked me before at work if I was some kind of dwarf because I look like one. I have been turned down many times because of my looks and my height. These are just your regular average girls, nothing like super models. Even girls with the same exact interests as me, does not give me a chance or want to get to know me. I am a nice caring guy and I am not lazy at all. Yes I have done online dating for 9 years now and no success with that. I am on POF right now but I am trying to cancel my account, online dating is not for me anymore. Not being attractive or handsome is hard to attract a female even though I share the same interests. Getting a date and a gf is not easy at all. If you want more, keep on your same path, if you want a relationship with someone who loves you never stop looking. Bars and clubs are full of people who look for the outside appearance's, you sound like a perfect person to be with. Like all good things you must wait and keep trying..... I completely agree that going somewhere where there is at least some basic measures in place to check for diseases makes a lot of sense. That pretty much means it has to be legal. And you would never want to have to face the courts in a place where it was illegal should you be "caught". Especially when those parts of society are so often dominated by religious control freaks that have so called zero-tolerance policies. So yeah, if you are comfortable I say go for it. Do your research and figure out what to expect and what the risks are. I would probably never tell anyone though. Make sure you have a good cover for why you are going to Nevada, etc... Most people wouldn't understand and it's none of their business anyways. I think I'll be on that same path at some point in the near future as well. If I didn't I would always regret not knowing what it's like; even if it is "tainted" by money. More and more as my friends get married and have kids and I sit on the sidelines I find myself writing women off as romantic partners. If there is a woman that is willing to go through the motions for a price, then I don't see any reason why such a basic human experience should be denied to us. Link to comment
