bobsiesprincess
how much weight do you give to a gut feeling you have that your relationship isn't going to work out?? Link to comment
Jetta
If I listened to my gut feelings I wouldn't be where I am today (miserable). God only knows where I would have been. Link to comment
DN
There is way too much credence given to gut feelings in my opinion. If gut feelings were as reliable as people say they are, the divorce rate would be near zero, no one would be able to be tricked by a con-man and we would have honest politicians. Link to comment

redhearts
I think if you feel your relationship is going great and theres no problems don't leave. If you feel uneasy theres something wrong there, well evaluate your situation. Link to comment
nutbrownhare
My experience has been that if I follow my gut feelings - no matter how illogical - everything works out for the best. When I don't - through wishful thinking, 'common sense' - whatever, things screw up. Link to comment
bijoux27
Follow it always. There is doubt and then there is a gut feeling that something really isn't right. Link to comment

You have a point, but what if it was because they never listened to those 'gut feelings'? Link to comment
DN
You have a point, but what if it was because they never listened to those 'gut feelings'?Because gut feelings are so often wrong - it's only when they are right that people say "See, your gut is never wrong' and forget all the times it wasn't. As one example: I really didn't like one of my best friends when I first met him. It was only through circumstance that I got to know him better and realised my gut was just wrong. Link to comment

Poke_RC
I have ignored my gut feeling so many times only for it to be proven right in the end....especially with a particulary painful relationship episode this summer Always go with your gut....I kicked myself for weeks afterwards as i had seen the situation already coming but walkked straight into a disaster anyway.
