ImThatGirl
We can relate well... lol Besides the fact that I don't have all the fun that you have! lol How do we handle it? We take time away from it all and better ourselves so that we are better able to convey what we want out of the friendship = relationship... I find myself really enjoying communication with people and then if they seem quiet, I get anxious.... I don't get it... I can relate to those fears too... And your signature line.. One of my favorites. Link to comment

That is just human nature. When someone pulls away, you start to chase... hence the games... And your signature line.. One of my favorites. Which line is your fave? Link to comment

Be the change you want to see in the world.... Lately, I've kinda been doing okay at taking my own advice. Compared to last year for sure. Link to comment
george237
That's why you always make the other person chase. Or at least make them think they are chasing. Link to comment

george237
that's what i need help on i guess... making them think they are chasing...??? It's easy give a guy your number after you flirt with him. Then when he calls to set up a date tell him your busy and pick another day. After the date text him saying you had a great time and then end conversation. In a few days he will call to set up another date. Link to comment

george237
I think it's so funny how both genders want the same thing yet we have to play around these little rules that society has forced into our minds. Link to comment

I agree. That's why I try to just kinda sit back and wait these days... lol But yeah it's sometimes a bit of a cat and mouse game, isn't it? Link to comment
george237
Yeah it's crazy but it's still exciting. The girl I am dating now made herself very available for our first 2 dates. Even though I thought she was great for me and this that I still started to loose interest. Then the 3rd date she said she wanted to take me out picked a day a week from the call didn't call me until that afternoon. Gained all the interest back. Link to comment

I think pretty available and unpicky for the 1st date is good... Of course I'd love to just have a calendar in front of me during first date and plan out three dates in advance. lol Would never!! I know. I do like to have specific plans as early as possible. I'm not so much a call me a day in advance and ask if we can spend time together kinda girl. Put things on a calendar, I schedule weekend plans by Monday if possible, Tues at latest. When I have spare time, I want to make sure it's not spent sitting around with nothing to do. Again... this isn't something I've told any guy I've dated for awhile as I know it's excessive and well... I kinda got tired of big discussions in the early stages of dating anyway. Link to comment
george237
Well it looks like you have kids so a date on the whim is hard to do for you. Only responsibilty I have is a job and my dog. So as long as it isn't during my work day and I am not going to be away from home for more then 10 hours I am good. Link to comment
