dd
I am in a bind.....I'm turning 40 and I want to plan a party. A party filled with 40 people. I have a friend who doesn't like my friend because she thinks she is going to screw me over. (they know eachother but they're not good friends) Another issue is I like this guy who may come and don't want him to get involve with the other girls at the party. Am I jealous? I feel that there is going to be drama at the party and may decide not to have it. Can I have some suggestions please..... Link to comment

(they know eachother but they're not good friends) Thats not your problem Another issue is I like this guy who may come and don't want him to get involve with the other girls at the party. Am I jealous? Yes, do you want to have a good time at your party or not? I feel that there is going to be drama at the party and may decide not to have it. Drama? yes, but maybe you like it? Can I have some suggestions please.....Have the party at a bar, not your house, that way if things aren't working out, you can leave and sit at home, watch reruns of CSI and check out Ben and Jerry (or hagen daaz) Link to comment

Xetra Dax
another suggestion, if you invite both of those friends, i would put them at different chair locations as far as possible removed from eachother so they don't have to be involved with eachother. I wouldn't invite the guy, your jealous so if your friends get drunk and hang all over him, you would get into a childish fight with your friends about it. 40 people is a lot , if your house isn't big enough i would move it to another location. But otherwhise i think your house can be just fine. Link to comment
Shyguy24
Why not have a smaller party ..with maybe 15 to 20 people . Also never invite people who dont get along ..just leads to problems ..like fights and nasty verbal conversations..you dont want that on your birthday ..do ya. Link to comment
