LBP
So I called a buddy of mine maybe five days ago, with no response. Not a big deal. He calls me today and asks who this is. I riff him a little bit because he's my oldest friend. He laughs and then says, kind of cryptically, "I've got myself in some trouble, man. I don't think I'll be able to see you any time soon." He says he can't talk about it on the phone. I say that's fine, do what you have to do, just keep me informed and remember that if you need anything, I'm there for you. I'm pretty sure what this trouble is and it's no joke. He's not the sort of guy to ever ask for help with anything so I'm certain I won't hear from him for a while. Yet, I want to be there for my friend. My family feels the same way about this. Is there anything I can do to be proactive about this? Or do I just let things go and let him come to me in his own time... If that ever happens? Link to comment
Scorpion Fury
Not trying to be too nosey, but without telling us what the trouble is, our advice might be limited. It depends on what he did really. Link to comment
LBP
I really can't get into it. Just believe me when I say that it's a serious matter. Very serious, in all likelihood. Link to comment
Daligal83
I don't think there's much more you can do than what you already did. Maybe call him here and there to check up on him. But if he did something wrong, he's going to have to pay for the consequences. You can't change what he did or what will happen because of it. All you can do is support him and help him learn to make better choices in the future. Link to comment
