anon001
girls, are there any techniques you use to control your volume? I am seeing a girl who is uncontrollably loud. the other day she was getting herself off in my apartment and I swear that the entire neighborhood must have thought I was a golden god. Apparently, she has to wait till her room mates are all out of the house to masturbate. This makes her extremely frustrated. she just cant seem to help it. I do have to say it's a beautiful thing to listen to. She just sent me a list of "to do before you die" and there were a few things on there that required her to be quiet. and honestly I would really prefer she pipes down a bit. hotels can be horrifying. redtan
How about this: send her to me and go find yourself a nice quite girl in the sack. I'll make sure her "enthusiasm" in bed will be appreciated, something which obviously isn't the case in your situation. Link to comment
Crazyaboutdogs
I have to disagree with the other posts. There really is no reason for being THAT loud. That is called being an exhibitionist. She can pipe down if she really wanted to...she just doesn't want to. She wants the whole neighbourhood to hear her. I see nothing erotic and exciting about someone who has to broadcast to the entire world that they are having an orgasm...she may as well just dance naked in the street. I think it would be mortifying being her partner. Link to comment

I bite my lip usually or I keep talking to my partner. That gets him excited and goes faster and keeps him into it. Link to comment
tiredofvampires
I don't think it's any different from laughing or crying -- some people are just louder than others when they have a really hard cry or a really hard belly laugh, and if you allow it to be unstifled, you can't necessarily guarantee it won't be loud. You can try to control it, but if you are of the belief that enjoying a sensation to the hilt means not stifling yourself, then yeah, it can be that loud. But there are pillows. I'd rather reach for a pillow than become famous 'round town for my opera. Link to comment
Clementine orange
The louder it is, the more "fake" it probably is. Just like laughter...It also smacks of "propratory behavior". Personally I find the "low moan" with a sudden bust of "ahhh" to be the best. Link to comment
Balbina
It really depends. I find that I can control the volume and keep it down, but really, it's just not as fun. I focus too much on being quiet and I lose the momentum... it's a buzz kill. I've tried to keep it down though and have succeed sometimes, because not everytime will be a bouncing-off-the-walls-wake-up-the-neighbours time, but I've also started off with the intention of keeping low, only to get caught up and stress later. " Was I too loud? Do you think they heard?" Link to comment

I've just googled "propratory behavior" and nothing comes up. So, clue us in? So you'd think my laugh to be very fake -- I laugh louder than anyone in the room. It usually turns heads. But I'm quite a bashful person, so I usually get really red in the face. But my bellylaughs have been called "jolly" -- very voluble. Ah, I know. Not so demure and feminine...remind those women to keep it sincere an mousy quiet, Clem. Link to comment
Clementine orange
You've obviously never had a good laugh...or a good orgasm. ha! I've had both - and they were genuine! I'm taking some baggage with this actually (I confess) because I had a g/f that was so noisy that the entire house knew what exactly was going on. I lived with 4 other guys (some of them rather lonely) and the looks we would get afterwards were wide ranging and whithering. Sometimes I wondered if she was putting on a bit of a show for them. I mean, I'm good and all but.... The first time I felt like a stud but after that I felt like a mod edit showoff. Link to comment
Balbina
Lol... I was kidding anyway. I think it's a little inconsiderate at times abd especially then I believe that it could be a bit of a show... (think of the sex competition in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, if you've seen it) But I was referring to the people that were genuinely in the moment and loud... just like a genuine laugh can sometimes lead to the inevitable snorting. See my other post. "propratory behavior" is a concept that I think I might have made up. It's when one does some kind of action to make it blatently clear that such and such a person is taken and y'all better back off. Hickies are another one. Link to comment

Thanks, I'm getting all steamed here actually. I was thinking of calling up some old g/f's and getting references from them! I'm not a huge laugher I guess. I mean, I'm far from shy and retiring (used to sing in a very loud punk rock band for goodness sake sooo....) but I guess I don't express myself really loudly - mirthwise or sexwise. I'm a Canadian with a British background ...we're kinda quiet about things. Link to comment

Oh yeah, I have once in a while done the embarrassing snort when laughing. Yes, being loud during sex can happen just like a snort when laughing but when it happens frequently or ALL the time it is exhibitionist. Link to comment

Clementine orange
Especially from quiet British Cannucks! Yes but I think pints of lager have an effect on us. Britain always seem to win those post football (soccer) riots, and us canucks have had a few rather fiesty hockey rough ups as well. Link to comment
