The key to making girl-on-top work is the positioning of your legs, since they do most of the work. If you're not in a good position, you're going to get sore, tired and cramped up real fast.

 

I like reverse cowgirl when he is sitting on the sofa, instead of laying down. More comfortable positioning. Kneel on the sofa instead of placing your feet on the ground.

 

Facing forward is also easier when he's sitting on a sofa. You can grab the back of the sofa and let your arms do some of the work too.

I find assymetric positions to be the easiest to pull off. For example, he sits on the edge of the sofa and you sit facing him with one leg on the ground and the other knee on the sofa. Put your arms around his neck and use them to do some of the work.

 

Finally, there's the swimming position which is pretty wild but might not work with a smaller man. You straddle him, get him in, and then lay down on top of him and straighten your legs. Most of the work is done by your stomach and back muscles since there is no part of your body that is touching the bed.
