I just want to know what the woman thinks about this.

Do you like it when a guy sprays his cologne on a letter/rose etc. and give it to you?.

As a guy, i like it alot especially when i'm away and can't see her.

If it is a nice smelling cologne, SURE. If it is old spice, nix it. LOL

I had a guy send me a letter with cologne on it and a spiderman picture. I was sixteen and when it came in the mail I was so embarrassed b/c my father took it out and smelled it and said "He put cologne all over this!" So now I don't want anyone to do it.

lol that made me laugh..

I guess the key is moderation. If you want to put it on the letter, put a drop between your thumb and index finger and work it around. Use what's left on your thumb and rub it into one of the corners. It will be more subtle that way.

Strangely enough, I am a book-sniffing fetishist anyway -- I like to open a book, even a musty one, and smell the pages, near the crack. Old books smell the best, but new ones have that laminate smell that creates the same effect for me as "new car smell". Smelling stationary falls into this quirk as well, so call me a goofball, but the romantic fact of opening a card from you plus the blanched paper scent is enough of a turn-on.

However, my ex was very fond of spritzing his cologne in the things he sent me -- books and cards, that is. And I'd say I did take to it, much as it's not the norm for me. I much like the scented, perfumed paper more than the cologne on HIM, that's for sure (I prefer a man's natural scent). Somehow unless the cologne is SUPER soft and subtle, I feel like it obscures things.

But I'm a total hypocrite, because I do like to wear scents myself, sparingly from time to time.

So yes, to the LIGHT scenting of letters and notes, but NO to the rose. That's clear out of the ballpark NO -- a rose already has its scent, that's the point. I wouldn't tamper with that.

No. I don't really smell paper.

But I like when I can smell his cologne on a shirt or teddy bear he gives me.

I agree, my boyfriend sprayed cologne on a teddy bear he gave me. I loved it. I don't know about letters though, just be careful it doesn't rub off the ink.

I like the smell of new books...its funny, a lot of people say they like the smell of old books, but its too musty for me!

There are some books that have been published with terrible ink, have you ever smelled those? I've smelled books that smell like (forgive me) mucous b/c of the ink.

If I'm dating a man, my favorite place to smell is his temples, I don't know why...but I like that part.
