Starting my own online business. Excited but nervous

I am just putting together a business plan for an online business. I am quite nervous about it and would welcome any tips people may have about running their own business.

Whatever you do, start small and don't invest too much money into it, especially if you've never done anything like it before. It's not always easy getting a business off the ground, and you don't want to have to dish out a lot of money and then never make anything of the business. Online businesses are better since you generally have less expenses. Since it's online, one suggestion is to start small with hosting, preferably with a cheaper hosting account that would only cost you less than $15/month, and then move on from there if needed. If it fails you may only be out $200 for hosting, but if it takes off it's always easy to upgrade.
