Drama Free Relationship

Whats your idea of a perfect relationship?

I am a drama free guy, and drama-full-girls do not go well here... but can a drama free relationship become dull and boring.

Anyone want to share a long term serious relationship that is drama free, happy, and one that you could call perfect? Just realized that I didn't know anyone with such a relationship, maybe someone out there does, if so please describe it, and what you feel about it?

Good luck getting it to rub your feet when you are tired or looking at you with adoring eyes!

Out of curiosity, how come you came to a 'relationship forum' if you are so anti relationship?

Just curious how you found us or why if you really have no need or desire for a relationship???

Drama-free is like fat-free.

Maybe better for you but doesn't taste near as good.

I'm not saying all forms of drama mind you, but part of letting your heart go with another person allows them to be able to hurt you if they should choose to, or if they are too neglectful. Being hurt leads to drama of some sort or another.

Relationships that are mature can have significantly less drama and still have all of the heart and soul necessary to be exciting and fulfilling. It's tough finding that perfect combination of chemistry and logistics... but it's possible.

I feel like you have to go through some dramatic relationships to get to a place where you can have a less drama-ridden one later.

I think the best relationships are the ones where both members can recognize when things are getting a little dramatic (or very dramatic) and diffuse the situation by talking about it, laughing about it, or simply saying "Whoa... this is some ridiculous drama... let's drop it"

*cross fingers* Let's hope for the best in all of our future relationships.

My idea of a perfect relationship is one with as little drama as possible. I'd be with a girl who was honest, loving, funny, brave, down-to-earth, smart, and someone who I would, obviously, be physically attracted to. We would have similar interests. The sex would be great (she would want it as much me and truly enjoy it).

In a perfect world, I wouldn't have a jealous dad and a judgmental mom complicating things. Our families would get along great; no tension.

The relationship would stand the test of time and still be exciting 10 or 20 years down the road.

I think you nailed it, what i bolded above. Mature relationships are much less dramatic and still can be extremely exciting and fulfilling. And this doens't always carry an age tag on it either, it depends on the people involved. Young or old who have mature relationships usually have those with less nonsense and drama.
