Update: ex calls

In a nutshell my situation is like this:

Ex and I remained friends, and have 'made out' a few times. Been broken up for close to 7 months now and I occasionally get late night phone calls (2AM) from her. She was drunk, and asking for me to come stay the night with her.

 

I'm no expert, but if this was a one time thing, i'd say she's just looking for some action, but shes called me a bunch of times like this. At least i'm on her mind Maybe a good thing considering i want to get back with her?

Who broke off the relationship? if it's her then it's just a booty call. If it was you and she's still missing and needing you, then yes....it's a good thing.

Yes I broke it off with her about 7 months ago, (from a 3yr relationship) then I realized I wanted her back 3 months into the breakup, and confronted her directly. She then told me she wanted to take HER space. So I gave it to her for a few weeks, then we started LC every week, hanging out occasionally and kissing every so often...

 

I've gotten about half a dozen of these late night texts, but never really paid much attention to them until this last one when i sort of 'fished' for what she was getting at.

 

It's a nice thing that i'm on her mind late at night, i guess?

 

How should I respond, should I give her what she wants next time?

Was talking with a friend late tonight and she informed me that this could be a BAD thing...

 

Sure, she has called me late at night several times now, all with the same message..."hey what u doing". Yes she's drunk, and yes she's thinking of me; but in what regard? Does she want a booty call, does she genuinely miss me?

 

I thought it was a good sign, girl is up late at night and lonely- thinking of ME! Great! I'm starting to get through to her.......maybe not!

 

Maybe she was just with another guy, he left and now she wants someone familiar to cuddle with, maybe that guy didn't finish the job and now she wants a comfortable person to complete the task.

 

Maybe she's just drunk, looking for some action and just sending message upon message hoping some poor sap will come running over to cuddle and hang out with her.

 

Ugh!!
