My ex-boyfriend

I havent seen my ex boyfriend in the 2 years since we broke up. I saw him yesterday. He was with his new girlfriend and I was with my boyfriend. When we broke up things ended really badly and we were never going to be able to be civil with one another, let alone friends. It just felt weird seeing him yesterday with her. It made me think, like I wonder how it made him feel and whether he still thinks about what happened between us and regrets it ending badly.
