Feel More Motivated When I'm Alone

Whenever my partner, who is absolutely lovely, goes out of town, I suddenly feel more motivated to cook and clean and take care of things, and more decisive. What the heck? I can't figure out why I can't do these things and feel this way when my partner's around. I think it's a me problem, not my partner's issue. Anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it?

I know exactly what you mean! I barely see my boyfriend so when he's over I don't want to do housework, i want to spend time with him!! The thing is, I've gotten so used to being lazy when he's around that even when he's over for a couple days in a row I barely do any housework...It's just a bad habit, I think.
