speak
Does anyone know of anything that can speed up hair growth? My hair is curly and a woman put the wrong layers in it and an exact month ago, I got a new person to cut it, and it looks better but these short layers are still driving me crazy. I've been wearing my hair in a ponytail non-stop.So any tips? Link to comment

Jetta
I always tell them I'm growing it out, then they don't cut so much off. But to really grow it out I'm going to have to quit cutting it. That's how I used to have long hair. Link to comment
speak
I am thinking about going about two months w/out cutting it AT ALL. But I am afraid that when I do go back to get it cut into the same length - they might not do what I say. You see, I'm afraid to trust anyone with my hair now!!!!! Link to comment

What helps me a lot is paying a lot of money for my haircuts. Well, a lot to me anyway. Here in Omaha, Nebraska 'a lot' is like $40.00 just for a cut. They listen better and know the current styles better. I also ALWAYS bring a picture, even if they've cut my hair five times. I always go to an upscale salon in a well-to-do area. Whenever I do that, I get a good cut from someone who listens to me. Whenever I do not do that, I get a bad cut and they don't frickin listen or take that much time with my hair. Link to comment
JeckyllNHyde
i think it really doesnt need to cost alot. it depends where you live though of course. where i live they still charge 15$. just for the hair cut of course and a wash. i have one dresser and i stick to her. you dont need to pay alot. i think for now, just ask for a reallly simple cut. let it grow in. i also dont trust just anyone to do layers. neways. how to make hair grow faster? all i know of is that massaging the hair stimulates growth by boosting circulation. now if you want you can even massage yourvhair with coconut oil or olive oil before a hair wash and leave it in an hour or 30 minutes. or just massage every day for 10 minutes. focus on the scalp. you can cut it in 3 months even. i used to think that you HAVE to cut it every 2 months. but right now i am also growing out my hair and for the first time i purposely went about 3 weeks no cut. lila...
They say fish oil is great for hair and nails, I've never tried it though. I take flax seed oil capsules and they really make my hair and nails grow twice as fast and healthier. Link to comment
