Well I finally called her up, but...

Okay so after getting some confirmation on whether or not the girl I have been planning to ask out thinks I'm psychotic or not, I finally called her up tonight to ask her out. Did I get rejected? Or did I finally score a date all by myself? Well... yes AND no!

 

So I asked her if she wanted to go see Batman with me and she said yes, but that she was planning to go see it with her older sister but she asked me if it was alright if we could take her along. Me wanting to see her again I said yes.

 

So now I'm going out with a girl PLUS her older and married sister! Yeah I don't know if that's against the rules of seduction or something but I'm so inexperienced yet so past the age of being able to whine about things that I don't care anymore. However I did express my desire of wanting to go out with her just the two of us and she said that there were still possibilities for that. I'm not even going to get hyped up over that statement because I wouldn't even know what to think.

 

So I'm asking if it's possible to somehow get a good date even though you're stuck with a third party?

You could take her out dancing afterward, the sister isn't going to want to tag along for that.

I don't dance. We're both more like head-bangers than breakdancers. It's also a daytime thing as she insisted on going out to the matinee premier of the film (as Batman hasn't debuted yet in my country) so I doubt there would be places to go out and dance open yet even if we wanted to.

Well the problem is that you asked her to go to a movie, where you will be spending 2.5 hours not talking. I would use this date as an opportunity to get in good with her sister, because whether you want to believe it or not, the older sister will be evaluating you after this experience.

 

You need to realize that there is no reason to be intimidated by women or this woman in particular she is just another person. Next time you ask her out then you ask her to get drinks, some coffee or whatever it is that isnt a date it is just something casual so that you can talk to her, or preferably ask her questions so that she does most of the talking.

The problem is that it's not only women that intimidate me. Most people intimidate me, regardless of gender. I just don't like humanity in general.

There are a few things that come to mind

A) She is bringing the sister along as a buffer as not to make it too awkward if it was just hte two of you.

 

B) If she didn't like you at all, she would of said nope I'm seeing it with my sister and thats that.

 

Who knows... only you would when you go with them.

I never thought of it that way. Well at least now I'll seriously consider the possibility that I was Friend Zoned and all opportunity I had with her romantically is now nil.

I think at this point she is casually interested in you.It isn't a great sign that she wanted to bring someone else along with her but after you spend more time with her she may become much more interested.Regardless,I would keep my options open and attempt to date other girls unless this one catches fire.

I would date other girls if I were in the position to do so! Yes I'm trying not to fall for the so called oneitis trap with this one. But the truth of the matter is that when you are basically an unemployed college wash-out who still lives at home, then your dating options are pretty much limited. This is complicated even more so by the fact that normally I can't even talk to random strangers much less women in a casual manner. Only reason why I got her number was because I was pretty much running on alcohol and it made me impervious.

 

I'm already bracing myself for the worse. I still have some money leftover and when it comes to worse (like it normally does) I'll go and buy myself a six-pack of Heineken. That should patch things up.
