isilv3r
Hey all...I'm curious...i haven't been out in the dating scene for a while cause i've always met someone that I've been with for a while. I'm currently going through an extremely tough heart break but I am getting by. My question is this and it's completely rhetorical, in no means am i looking to date..however, I am attractive (not to toot my horn)...im not sl.utty by no! means but I dress up nicely and can dress down the same...but when i go out to the bars, i don't get picked up/flirted with etc., .. Perhaps because I don't bother to check anyone out and i stick with my friends for a good time...but from anyones experience, why wouldn't you want to approach someone you think is attractive? tooth_fairy
am i right in assuming that both sexes can be intimidated by someone they feel is attractive? that's my assumption from one point of view, but i'm just as confused when it comes to that kind of stuff! hope your recovery goes well! lukeb
The single biggest reason why you dont get firted with at a bar is because you're with friends, you're already signaling that that is not why you are there. Another reason could be that people are actually cruizing you and you dont notice. For someone to go out of his way to flirt with you, generally you have to send out a signal that you are interested in him aswell. It's a dance and it takes two people to dance. Link to comment

Just to correct you, I date girls So they are she's....yea i guess it would be hard for people to come up when you're with a group of people eh? However, I don't tend to stand around the club by myself....so generally the idea is to make eye contact? lol Link to comment
