Murasaki
So . . . I was barely dating this girl (who I had liked for a long time) before I received a text (just before I was going to call her) that she didn't think it would work out (the dreaded "we should be friends"). My response was pretty short and basic and that's that, but in the meantime I get to bask in the pangs of rejection. Just when I thought my confidence was coming back from the last breakup I get hacked, stabbed, whatever caring for someone does to you. So I vent and moan . . . Link to comment

Any woman who breaks up in a text is a coward and not worth you time! Link to comment
Daligal83
Yea that is pretty immature of her. Each dating experience is about learning what you want and don't want in a relationship. From this experience, you can say you've learned that you want a more mature woman. Link to comment
mca1975
I dont think its that bad to say that in a text if you were only dating 'barely', its the way of the world these days, its less embarrassing for people thats all. She just wasnt the one for you, move on to the next, good luck x Link to comment
