Unintentionally ran into my ex, so now I vent

So its been about a year, things have been going well for me. Very long periods of NC, days, weeks even without thinking about her, started dating again, etc. I was at the mall trying to find myself some bling and I realize I'm passing by the place where I heard she worked. Curiosity got the best of me and I saw her behind the counter (pre-occupied, there was no eye contact). Immediately, every mental faculty I had began punishing me for what I saw, and I pretended to look through my phone as I walked on the other side of the walkway smoothly but as quickly as I could without appearing conspicuous.

 

All it took was one look at that face, I feel as if this one really wasn't my fault. Anyway, I took every step to avoid even being within her range of visibility once I passed by. I want to burn her from my brain forever. But now that will be even harder. Just had to vent . . .

Well i hope ur feeling better. Next time try to either avoid that mall altogether or definitely avoid any place that she may be. I know that everytime i broke up with my boyfriend...the slightest contact would screw everything up. So simply stay strong (something i need to learn to do) and avoid her at all costs!!!
